Here’s what you’ll need:

Meatloaf Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Bacon Burger

  • 1 medium onion, diced

  • 1 green onion, diced

  • 1 tablespoon butter

  • 2 eggs

  • ¾ cup milk

  • ¾ cup Italian breadcrumbs or seasoned breadcrumbs

  • 1 tablespoon ketchup

  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder

  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 teaspoon fennel seeds

  • 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes (optional for a kick)

  • 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning

  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt (or more, to taste)

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Meatloaf Sauce Ingredients

  • ¾ cup ketchup

  • ¼ cup molasses

  • 1 tablespoon horseradish

Steps:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.

  2. Sauté the onion and green onion in butter until softened.

  3. Combine the milk, eggs, and breadcrumbs in a bowl, letting it sit for a few minutes to absorb.

  4. Mix the remaining meatloaf ingredients in a large bowl and add the sautéed onions.

  5. Add the breadcrumb mixture and combine everything thoroughly.

  6. Form a loaf on a greased pan.

  7. Bake for 40 minutes.

  8. While baking, whisk together the sauce ingredients.

  9. Spread the sauce over the loaf after 40 minutes and bake for an additional 20 minutes.
